ICAR 2024 REGISTRATION FEES

Category Explanations
  1. *Early Career Professionals (ECPs) are within 10 years of finishing their terminal education (e.g., B.S., B.A., M.S., PhD) PUI- faculty at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions that do not confer graduate level degrees.
  2. ^Regular Professional: Academic & non-profit organization staff with 10+ years post education.
  3. **Company/Industry: all others working not in academic or non-profit organizations. Industry/company employees that qualify in the ECP category (within 10 years of finishing your terminal education) may register with the ECP rate.
In-Person Conference Registration Includes:
  • Access to all Keynotes, Plenary Sessions, Concurrent Mini-symposia, Workshops, Networking, Professional Career Development Sessions 
    • ​In-Person (Price Center, UC San Diego)
    • Live-streaming from the Zoom platform (except Monday pre-ICAR events)
    • On-demand access to recorded sessions for 4 weeks post-ICAR (except Monday pre-ICAR events)
  • All conference catering, as shown in the program, excluding the ICAR dinner* 
    • ​Opening Welcome Reception (Monday 15 July)
    • Lunch (Tuesday-Friday)
    • Coffee/tea breaks 
    • Poster session refreshments (Tuesday-Wednesday)
      ​*The ICAR dinner party is ticketed separately to manage costs
  • Submission of 1 (one) abstract for an oral or poster presentation.
  • Access to present a poster or a talk (if selected by a concurrent mini-symposium chair)
  • Access to exhibitor and poster sessions​ ​
VIRTUAL Conference Registration Includes:
  • Virtual Access via Zoom to all Keynotes, Plenary Sessions, Concurrent Mini-symposia, and Workshops (workshops on Tuesday-Wednesday)
    • Live-streaming via Zoom (excludes Monday pre-ICAR events)

  • Submission of 1 (one) abstract to be considered for a virtual oral presentation (if selected by a concurrent mini-symposium chair)
  • Note: virtual attendees will not have access to present a poster​

Cancellation Policies & Fees

IN-PERSON POLICY & FEES
  • By June 15, 2024: In-person registration cancellation fee is $60 USD (covers staff & fees).
  • You must cancel in writing to: icar.registrar@gmail.com
  • Be sure to get a confirmation from the registrar. We are not responsible for emails that are not successfully delivered.
  • No in-person fee refunds will be given after June 15, 2024.
  • You may transfer your registration to another person with no fees, provided you notify us in writing by July 1, 2024.

VIRTUAL POLICY & FEES
  • By July 1, 2024: Virtual registration cancellation fee is $25 USD (covers staff & fees). 
  • You must cancel in writing to: icar.registrar@gmail.com
